MNDHS to Resume Annual Renews for Cash Assistance and SNAP

MN DHS Logo

The Minnesota Department of Human Services is resuming annual renewals and six-month reviews for cash assistance programs and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

  • This affects households that are due for a renewal or review for June.
  • The State will begin the process of mailing the notices and paperwork to those households on April 15.
  • Local eligibility workers will begin processing the renewals in late April and throughout May in order to have renewals determined by May 31 for June benefits.

A shorter form has been created to replace the Combined Application Form (CAF) and the Combined Six-Month Report (CSR). The form is titled Household Update Form.
